A Community Florist with Deep Roots in Tampa Bay

The Absolutely Beautiful Florist & Flower Delivery story began decades ago in the Tampa Bay Area. Founder and head designer Brad Catlin came of age at the family nursery in Central Florida. As a young child, he learned all there is to know about gardening at his mother's side as she tended to the plants and flowers that bloomed in the Florida sun. This formative experience instilled a deep love of all things green and floral that would last a lifetime.

After completing high school, Brad's first employment opportunity was at a nursery, followed by a shift into the floral business. It was there that he discovered his true love of and appreciation for flowers, leading to the discovery of his innate design talent. After this revelation, there was no question that floral artistry was Brad's lifelong passion, a calling fundamentally rooted in his DNA.

Years of discovery, exploration, and learning laid the groundwork for what would eventually become Absolutely Beautiful Florist & Flower Delivery. The first brick-and-mortar location to bear our name opened in 2011 in beautiful St. Petersburg, Florida. In tandem with a cultured and diverse city that has since flourished, Absolutely Beautiful blossomed; we have always been intrinsically connected to our community. From humble beginnings in a small space, we grew as more and more local customers discovered the elegance and sophistication of our flower arrangements. This excellence has led to multiple awards, including FTD's Top 100 Florists nationwide and #1 in the Reader's Choice poll in Old Northeast Patch. Brad also has the honor of being the head designer for Art & Bloom, the premier annual celebration of floral art at the Museum of Fine Arts.

While Absolutely Beautiful is a thriving part of our community, we have not lost sight of what is truly important. Since the beginning, the core of our values has been giving back in every context; all communities are interdependent and only thrive when everyone has a seat at the table. One way we show our gratitude is by gifting bouquets to exceptional Pinellas County educators who go above and beyond in our local schools. These teachers of the year give selflessly, and we're honored to reward their service with the freshest blooms.
